Terra Nova might end up becoming one of my favorites if it gets better.

Same here. I don't see that show going sour.

I do. Very easily. They go after the "Control the past, control the future" storyline without any foresight and turn the show into an over-convoluded mess.

If it comes to that than I'll just have to look forward to the dino carnage. It wouldn't be the first time I've watched a show or movie just for that...

I quite like Supernatural. I never really watched it when it came out in 2005, but I recently bought box-sets for seasons 1-3, and they were great.

I don't think the show would've been greenlit if that was the case.

Of course it would've, it's happened to many other shows too. Shows don't get greenlit based on how far into the future they can see with the story. They'd have pitched the idea about the "Control the past, control the future" plotline, but they wouldn't have said "And here's will it'll be by the second season!".

The reason I attack these kind of plotlines is because they're almost always the one that lead to a sharp, uninteresting, decline in quality.

At least this is a fresh approach to it. No other show out there tackles dinosaurs.

Well... Primeval... but is that even a real show?
