can the avp demo be removed from hd?

I no longer see it on my steam olive colored startup page.  When it was there, you could right click and there was an option for "delete local content"  So how do I go about removing it now?  I like to remove any unecessary stuff to clear up hd space.

I used add/remove programs in windows.

Steam\steamapps\common and delete the avp demo folder.
