Also, how did we get such an insanely cool spaceship interior in Predator 2 only for every subsequent film to just default to a chrome interior?

Yah, indeed. 'Twas the Strause Brothers intent thankfully so. They couldn't change the ship drastically (thanks to AvP) but at least tried to make up for it incorporating those P2 Ship aesthetics into their homeworld. 👏

"Jungles" can look pretty unspectacular with the wrong cinematography too, but Donald McAlpine & John McTiernan just nailed it!
