Of course. You gotta put it on the bread though. Because if you put it between the cheese and the meat, it'll just squirt all over you when you bite into it. And I toast the bread first. I like some crunch in my sandwiches.

Also had some crushed red pepper. But that was on a different layer. Layering your sandwich properly is important.
