Ranking glitch. It doesn't always save your ranks.
SEGA refuses to fix this.

An easy way around this is to play a ranked match, but when it takes you back to the Pre-Game Lobby afterwards, quit and find another. It SHOULD save now, because the coding is still thinking that Ranked matches will take you back to the multiplayer menu, so it won't save any ranks unless you do this.

WHEN I SEARCH FOR SERVERS IT SAYS NO RESULTS FOUND. IVE TURNED OFF ANTI VIRUS, FIREWALL, BACKED UP GAMES FILES IN STEAM AND STILL SAYS NO RESULTS FOUND. ID LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PLAY MY GAMES.. NOT JUST STARE AT THEM IN THE LIST OF GAMES IN STEAM YA KNOW?

Why do Aliens jump while initiating the Heavy Attack? It really annoys me 

Plus, my friend found out a way to win matches by using a tree as his shield as a Predator.
He would jump into the trunk of a tree in the Jungle Map and would stand inside the trunk of the tree and fire at people. Why are people trying to win matches through glitches?!

Because it's a good dodging tactic.

Dodge from what? I kill them anyway but sometimes they land behind me and I get stealth killed.

I have Anatidaephobia, you know.
The mere thought of 'ducks playing AvP' disturbs me to a critical level.

I can't hear SK100 on AvP and he can't hear me.

BUT everyone else on AvP can hear HIM and ME

And we can hear everyone else too.

AND We can't join eachothers matches because it'll say
that the session has timed out.

Help?

You know on the last Marine Mission after you kill Bishop before you get the datapad the open hole in the ground with lava. Try jumping and punching at the same time, you can jump onto an invisible platform and you can shoot the ground but you won't fall.

I've been playing the PC version and have noticed two tiny graphical glitches:

Weird shadow when using the Marine's flare:


While playing as the Pred, hitting a wall multiple times causes the scratch marks to flicker. This doesn't happen with the Alien.



I'm not sure if it's my rig or the game itself, but here's the in-game settings:



And my PC specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0GHz
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB RAM
3GB RAM

EDIT: BTW, is it just me or is the Alien's head-bite censored? There seems to be a lot more blood on the screen than the PS3 version...no eyeballs either...

You need to download Alien Verus Predator - Dedicated Server.
It should be in the tools tab on Steam.
Then select Dedicated (Internet) instead of User hosted.

Found another glitch:



The flashlight beam looks like a square. It happens on certain walls and this is the best pic I could get. Also, the flashlight doesn't show up in elevators, it seems to illuminate the outside of the elevator instead of the inside.

my computer is fully up-to-date with windows XP updates, all my drivers are updated through Driver genius, my steam cache files are 100% Validated through ther verification application in steam properties.  I have AMD Phenom X6, GTX 460, 4gb Ram

I have deleted my cache files and re-verified thru steam - Didn't Help
I have deleted appupdatestats.blob abd clientregistry.blob - Didn't help
I have installed DirectX9 thru redist folder - Didn't Help
I Have re-installed the game 3 Times - Didn't help

Anyone else having this?
Basically, The sound in Mausoleum glitches out. Sometimes the alien squeels are a higher pitch, rarely they are a lower pitch, but mostly, the sound just kinda cuts in and out, giving them this weird "gargling" sort of sound.

The sound is fine in every other map, only happens in Survivor in Monument.

I can't remember if I've been on Mausoleum since the latest update, which I realize was probably over a year ago.
I've cleaned the disc, which didn't help at all.

I'm playing the PS3 version of the game
