Is there any news/info regarding the movie getting a physical blu-ray/DVD/4K/all of the above release?

I know with streaming movies and shows it can be hit or miss, but as we got one for Prey, I'm kinda hoping we get one for KoK too.

No news as the moment, it's probably way too early yet. That being said, Steve Asbell is big on physical media. If there's demand for it, then he'll likely fight for it internally.

Which means we sure as hell better demand it.

I can see it either being released around Badlands to promote it, or Christmas to capitalise on that, then Badlands in 2026.

The regime whose whole edict was 'streaming above all' is gone, so we probably won't have to wait as long as we did for PREY. But I'd still say maybe give it around a year?

I think we'll get a physical release at some point. Just not anytime soon.

Personally, I am one of those few people that still prefer having physical media. Partly because I like the fact having physical media means you don't run the risk of having the movie or tv show you like disappearing into that big black hole of nothingness as the streaming platform removes them, never to appear again. And also, its a pain (not to mention a hit to your wallet) when you have to subscribe to so many different streaming platforms just to watch the movie or show you want.

I still buy physical media for collectors syndrome and the still superior quality. And yet I have most bigger streaming apps.

I'm also hoping we get a separate digital release date soon. I'd love to add Killers and Prey to my Fandango at Home (Vudu) collection—especially since I'm planning to drop Hulu after Alien: Earth wraps up.

Yeah, Prey still doesn't have a digital release yet. It's a shame since other platform originals have gotten standalone digital releases of their own. The cowards.

I'm expecting it to hit physical a year or so after it hit Hulu. I assume there was some licensing or usage rights thing that gives Hulu/Disney+ exclusive access to the film for a set amount of time before it can be on physical, to incentivize more signups for the services.
