Poor thing.

Mike’s Monsters

There's no visible scarring, but I am curious if he lost the two upper mandibles in a battle or something. Or it's just design choice, which if that's the case, not too big of a fan. If there's story reasoning, I can dig it.

Huntsman

Might be okay. It can't be as bad as some of the other Predator films, surely?

BigDaddyJohn

There is a pattern with Dan coming with weird designs it seems.

Anyone notice the Viking Killer missing his right arm? It's replaced with the Power First. I thought maybe he loses the arm when stuck underwater, but he is already missing it there.

Mr.Turok

I think his missing upper mandibles is just the similar vein of mutation that the Scout Predator from the Lost Tribe has with his four mandibles grown from his lower face, with two of them having overgrown tusks.

Which is why I'm inclined to let this slide, as it seems to be in par with what already is. No one is going to say "OMG they ruined the Winston Design with the Scout Predator". Nor is it drastically different like Feral's where his entire facial structure is designed to be a Predator that evolved in the desert. It's just different, but not really something that need heavy justification. Mutations happen, like webbed feet with humans, so I'm fine with the direction for this individual Predator.

I never knew scout was missing his upper mandibles. Could he be from another ethnicity of Yautja? I wonder do Clans inner mingle with other clans? Sounds like something that could be explore in a novel or comic

I think he's like that from the start of the movie.

I remember many many complaints about this figure when it was released.
"OMG they ruined the Winston Design with the Scout Predator" - exactly that was said.

A toy was that important ?

Yes, but maybe it was mainly from Collectible communities

I personally don't think he is of another ethnicity. I feel like we got alot of that going on already for the stories. If anything, I like the idea that the clan wouldn't shun away a fellow Predator due to disfigurement or whatever, and rather see it earns his place due to skill and ability.

Which is baffling to me, as the rest of the tribe already follows the original design, so why make a fuss on this particular one when it obviously shows that it has some kind of disfigurement, mutation, or something that went wrong in it's growth period.
