I know Resurrection is the technically all around better made of the choices, but honestly, I'd rather take AvP. There's plenty of elements within Resurrection I f**king love (I think I'm one of the few who is actually loves Ripley 8 as a character), but its just such a clash of tones to me.

AvP is a film that has a lot of nostalgia to me, and a lot of associated history for that time in my life when everything wasn't so complicated. Plus, its a film I flip-flop on if its going to entertain me, so I might get more milage out of it on a desert island if I'm not in the mood that day.
