What makes a good Pred face?

It just looks so unnecessary. It's a super weird choice for a species variant. There is so much more you can do to make these creatures look different from each other without breaking the mold.

I'd figure it's just a disfigurement or a mutation.

Yeah, something like that. Birth defect, a rare mutation, or perhaps a long healed disfigurement? Webbed feet is a thing, and a very rare one at that, so perhaps two mandibles is a rare defect of a kind for Predators and this one is that rare one.

I'm leaning towards it being some kind of disfigurement, like he lost the upper ones in battle. It is a bit perplexing that there aren't nubs (or at least visible scars) left from where they once were, though.

Same.  I've always wanted to see tatted up and heavily body modded Predators.  Much cooler and individual than just creating a whole separate subspecies. Just keep the general body the same, and add flair via clothing choices/decorations and body mod.

Would be great to see warpaint on the Predator, both mask and their face. I greatly appreciate the tunic that I see Dek has under his armor. It's a shame that its basic but I also recall that this is his blood rite hunt, and the first one I think?
