I keep wanting to try a roast in the air fryer and keep chickening out. How is it?

For my sins I have an Australian girlfriend and she shout me a minced beef and mushroom meat pie from a Vietnamese bakery in the Mornington peninsula.
Hands down the best pie I've ever had. I'm almost tempted to say it's the Citzen Kane of meat pies because it's about a kilometre away from a town called Rosebud.
I'm not even being sarcastic or joking when I say that.

Nope. Nein. Nada. Traditionally it's a beef mince (onions, herbs) cooked for ages so its very soft and tender. Others though like Steak and Mushroom (as what @SiL mentioned above) are more chunky and yummy.

It only goes with some combinations. Cheese on a beef pie is strange and unnecessary.

I've genuinely never encountered a meat pie with cheese in it aside from the afrementioned bacon & cheese. Wait til you try a Sausage Roll ... especially the artisan ones with Moroccan Lamb or Pork & Fennel. Amazing.

The minced beef was so good but it was the mushrooms that set it apart. The texture was soft but also chewy. Oh, and a shout out to the pastry that was just perfect, not a crumb fell from it.

My biggest regret in life is that I didn't make the misses go back in there and get us another one.
