Reading the Silmarillion. I thought I knew Lotr lore, but boy was I wrong.

Read Pachinko. A novel about the travails of a multi-generation Korean immigrant family in Japan. Story starts out strong but starts to meander about in its later stages  Wished they could have maintained the tighter focus like the earlier part of the story.

Still a worthwhile read overall. It does a good job painting the challenges and discrimination facing Korean families in Japan as a sort of second class citizens.

Finishing Alien: Enemy Of My Enemy. It's not good. Why am I even doing this?

I found Enemy of My Enemy quite mid. That RPG trilogy was just not a win for Titan.

I've just started the newest Halo book, Halo: Empty Throne. I'm a couple of chapters in and am enjoying it so far. The last few they've done have been very interesting. I absolutely loved Rubicon Protocol.

Just finished Dune: Messiah, wonderful book.

About to begin reading Children of Dune, pretty excited for it and the rest of the series.

Any Dune fans on here?

If audiobooks count, Escape, the last book in the Final Days series.

I don't get a lot of chance to actually read, so audiobooks in the car are my way forward.

Reading Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies.
One of the scariest books I've ever read.

Continuing to chip away at The Crossing, by Cormac McCarthy. It's great, it's just a lot.

And on the audio book front I've returned to Jack Ryan and currently going through Clear and Present Danger. Damn, there's a ton of characters and a lot going on. But in a good way.

Finally reading Star Wars: Dark Empire. It's pretty good actually, and not that similar to the Thrawn Trilogy.

Well I was reading some Warcraft Books like the War of the Ancients trilogy and Rise of the Clans and some non-Warcraft stuff like some TRPG books set in the world of darkness.

The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie on audiobook. This might be my personal favourite of the First Law books. The story resonated with me quite a lot.
Next up is Red Country.
