Thankfully, there's lots of potential outs for future films to take and plenty of openings to doubt it via fan theories, but until then, as far as the films are concerned David still made the Aliens. (Gggrrrrr)

Same here. We heard a while back that a second trailer with a different length had been rated already. It's definitely gonna be held until SDCC.

David just created his own xenomorph, the xenomorph is not David's original creation. David's Drawings already had a chestburster and an ovomorph very similar to the original Alien, it couldn't have been imagined by David. If the chestburster and the ovomorph were David's originals, how could the actual creation be exactly as imagined, not to mention that there are already murals of the ovomorph inside the Engineer's pyramid of Prometheus. I'm guessing xenomorph is the ultimate evolutionary direction for all organisms in Alien Universe, with Deacon, Neomorph, and other creatures eventually evolving into xenomorph, and David just speeding up and recreating the process and adding something of his own. Fede Alvarez revealed that xenomorph DNA is the strongest DNA, and the Offspring will eventually turn into a xenomorph, like the test screen of Alien: Romulus.

"We knew we had some leeway there at the end to see what it does. I got tempted at some point to think what would happen if it keeps evolving because if he grows so fast from a baby to an adult then what makes it stop? Would it age and die. No, I don't think they age and die. It just would keep evolving. So, we see it grow. We see his tail grow right. Like when he's breastfeeding on his mother. Like we see the tail growing like it doesn't have at the beginning and then I was tempted to see what happened if we go beyond and we did some tests that was actually yeah... I think on the only test screen we did was there that you can see... it was actually pretty cool."

Fede Alvarez has previously revealed that black goo is the origin of all life in the universe, including the Engineer.

"The black goo is the root of the whole thing that was introduced in 'Prometheus'," Álvarez explains. "It's the root of all life, but also particularly the xenomorphs come out of that thing, which means it has to be inside them. It's the xenomorphs' semen, almost. So we thought, if it affects your DNA, and the Engineers clearly came out of the same root of life, it made complete sense to me that [the offspring of a human and a xenomorph] was going to look like that."

And Ridley Scott already revealed in 2017 that the Engineer is not the true creator of humanity, as implied on page 50 of the 2014 release of Alien: The Weyland-Yutani Report.

At least that's what we're led to believe by Scott, who came to speak with us briefly while we were standing in the Hall of Heads. "We've reinvented the idea of Alien, which is that Covenant gets us a step closer to who and why was this thing designed to make human beings. And if you think it's them," Scott said, gesturing to the monolithic figures of the Engineers surrounding us, "you're dead wrong."

So the black goo wasn't the creation of the Engineer at all, and both the Engineer and David created life with the help of the black goo. Ridley Scott's director's track for Alien: Covenant has made it clear that black goo is intelligent and can automatically seek out hosts when atomized into a spore state.

"Puff balls... As a child, we used to have puff ballls. And we used to squeeze them and they would puff out a fine dust-like pollen. And there you've got some dust-like pollen. But there's an intelligence to the dust, gets together into its own universe and nucleus. It will find a host."

Until we're told otherwise, David is the current creator of the Alien I'm sorry to say

Hahahaha I actually don't eat that much. Goku eats more than my family combined.

You like the Flash or something, where you just gotta eat all the time due to a super fast metabolism?
