The first alien gameplay footage from Aliens vs. Predator has found its way onto YouTube. It’s cam footage from a convention and it’s hard to make out because people are walking in front of it all the time. It shows off a lot of the alien abilities like seeing through walls and its various attacks. Check out the five-minute video below:

The quality sucks. And Impaling is just animation like the predator's trophy kill THIS SUCKS OMG. And why the way u say is so LOW. omg u are lower than a human. I want that impaling is something like that( U ue right mouse to IMPALE, then u have him on your tail and after that u must click MOUSE 1 to drop the body wherever u want. I DONT WANT JUST SUCKY ANIMATION LIKE HUNTER's Pounce in l4d omg... U should use some mouse clicks or something. Not just PRess mouse 2 and watch a impale video. u know what i am saying mkay?
to Toper_PL: Don't worry, I'm sure there are other ways to kill. These are just the animated "trophy kills", awarded for being a stealth killer. You wont be able to do this all of the time.
This kinda reminds me of the Alien campaign from the atari version for some reason. Just something about it looks similar

I loved the clip, but I'm not too sure about the head-biting animation clip, I think that it could use a little bit of work, cause it kinda seems a bit... 2D and out of place, but other than that it was pretty awesome. Also - I burst out laughing when Sonic walked across the screen. X 8)
I agree with X-SOLDIER,that the head-bite animation looks pretty outdated for a next generation game but it may seem that way due to the lack of HD quality of the video itself. I hope that AvP3 will be the answer to all our most darkest and desired wishes for a unique AvP game experience!
Yeah I dunno bout the whole 2D thing but maybe thats just a design issue? Also: when did Sonic walk across the screen? I saw something spiky go across but it wasnt blue... ???

whats with games making blood like gears of war. I HATE the thick glowing blood from gears of war. Reminds me of Old school Turok blood on N64 LOL Also notice the hands dont curve with the surroundings as the alien walks on the walls? I saw new gen games where the hands would actually bend and crap corners in first person. This game does need some finer touches, as it does look dated already.
Man you people, rebellion can just show a video of a pred walking backwards and you guys will still yell "THAT WAS AWESOMe!!!". The vid isn't that good. geez.
I hope the PC version moves a bit more fluidly than that...
im really diserpointed with the head biting graphics they look cartoon like they should get rid of that and replace it with the tongue with non cartoon like graphics like u see in the avp 2 film

Well its great there is only one problem. The blood it's weird color just doesn't look all that natural, to me at least.
Looks good, though the blood/gore looks a bit over the top as it pours out.

I agree that the headbite animation was a bit....eh but I'm sure it will get fixed because this is a beta for the game. says so on the screen, so changes are bound to be made. Don't worry, im sure the final game will cater to all of our killing variety needs. i just wanna be able to climb down the wall and grab the stupid marine and drag him back up the wall and kill him slowly >:D

Half of you guys thinking the blood is extremely shiny are really funny, you do know most of the shine to it if not nearly all of it is from it being captured from a camera in the distance. Just go take a look at the predator trailer in comparison to the walkthroughs, its a huge difference in how shiny objects are.
Look I'm gonna clear something up all the fears about the animation and gameplay for the alien are well placed but unnecessary this footage wasn't even going to be released and then rebellion just said what the hell i think it looks like a really good work in progress and cant wait to explore all three species but if you see me online you can bet i'll be playing as an alien no matter what.
