Heyo, I'm wondering if anyone could help me out?

It's entirely possible I'm misremembering, but I thought that there was a reference to Prometheus in Isolation in the form of a poster on a wall somewhere within the game? I know there's adverts and posters everywhere on Sevastopol, but if I am remembering correctly, the poster was either pinkish or purple-y and it was for a band, or maybe a movie, named The Promethean Fire or something to that effect?

It's also possible that it's a poster in one of the Dead Space games, in which case it wouldn't be referencing Prometheus, but I definitely thought I came across it in Isolation at some point.

Let me know if you recall seeing it, too. Thanks!

I can't give an answer to that at the moment, but I'll keep an eye out for the next run.

I finally found the Prometheus reference in Isolation!

The poster can be found in Gemini Exoplanet Solutions (Chapter 10) in the room with the reception desk - just to the left of it.

It's a purple and pink, very 1970's inspired poster for an in-universe musician(?) named Doc Sammi. Unsure as to whether or not the name is a reference to someone or something. I assume Fire! from the Gods is meant to be Doc Sammi's show/album name. But, it also says it'll be held at the O'Bannon Garden Auditorium on Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th at 8:00pm.

Awesome find! I love the detail that went into all the visual world-building in Isolation.

well done GrimmVision.
I don't think I would have ever noticed.
It would be really funny if the musician had the head of an engineer,
With the hair of course Lol

There's also one about lice somewhere, and there's a bunch of Colonial Marines ones in the files but I guess they thought they might disrupt the experience somehow.

(Which I agree with, both from a time period point of view, and from not setting up expectations about them perhaps appearing.)

Another couple possible Prometheus references within Isolation!!

I found a SoundCloud account who's uploaded all of the songs and radio dramas/shows that play over the boom boxes that you can find throughout Sevastopol. I've personally never sat around long enough to listen to too much of them because, well:

BUT, within the songs and radio dramas/shows that do play, there's an excerpt from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus as well as a story labeled "Greek Gods" that talks about some general introductory knowledge of the Greek pantheon and its relationship to humankind.

There's also an excerpt from Kafka's novella Metamorphosis, which I'm assuming is a potential nod to the process of Egg-Morphing!!

And lastly there are a couple excerpts from Alice in Wonderland. Here, I'm assuming the devs are equating Alice going down the rabbit hole with Amanda's arrival to Sevastopol, and her literally falling down an open hole in the flooring as you progress through the opening sequences!

I've never seen anyone mention or talk about these at all, so let me know what you all think!

;D

I'm definitely impressed.
I love this game and play it as often as I can find time.
But I have to say that I have never delved so deeply into the background stories of the hidden messages of this game. So there could definitely be something to your assumptions or discoveries.
I would be interested to hear what Creative Assembly would have to say about this.
Are you not a professional profiler by any chance? :)

I'm not, no - Just passionate is all

Isolation was a passion project for Creative Assembly so I imagine there's a ton of secrets and interesting tidbits that people haven't discovered yet, even 10 years later.

Absolutely. You can see Creative Assembly's passion for this project at every turn in the game.
The sound design is also incredible. Sometimes I feel like I hear noises that I hadn't noticed before.
The sound palette of the Alien is also interesting, you can even hear the Newborn every now and then.
It's really sad that this game wasn't better received. I think no matter who makes a new alien game in the future, it will be difficult to achieve this quality.
