I'm not aware of any source book. Just the occasional blurb about it on merchandise like that one poster of City Hunter that said his knives are made of some sort crystal. And frankly the universe probably could use a source book.

i heard there was a predator bible of some sorts. i imagined it might contain some info on the tech side of things. and as such a general idea of what the tech might have been based on. and in q historical sense as well how it was developed. maybe novels and games was extrapplatee upon as a possible source for the bible. it is odd to me though. i thought someone might have been putting some stuff together over the years. or maybe its juat because fans never really needed an explanation. who knows. just surprised though.

I think a fan wiki is really as comprehensive as its ever been. But the Predator bible isn't available to us and is inconsistent even with itself given the existence of xenomorphs or the flip flopping on AVP being a canonical crossover.

start qoute

In fact, in some cases, a Predator's wrist gauntlet has been known to be surgically grafted onto the individual's arm and even fused with their nervous system, to the point where removal of the unit is typically fatal for its owner.

no real eexplanation given for where the energy comes from

loos like whatever system is used to power the self destruct meganism is maybe the energy source for plasma caster.

start quite:

The explosion from a Self-Destruct Device is often blue-tinted in color, indicating it may not be the result of a combustion reaction at all, and likely bears some relation to Yautja Plasmacaster technology.

well thats better than nothing.

was hoping for more info on how the predator stores and manipilates its energy and  in what form.

The bible was for creatives working within the franchise. There was someone working on a Predator Archive which seems to have disappeared, but I think that was going to be more like the Alien Archive about the film, rather than any in-universe lore. Maybe they'll do one after the Alien Encyclopedia? Will have to see how well the Alien one sells.
