It's a shame they couldn't have edited them into The Ten Commandments.

Axl Rose would have insisted on being Moses.

IT Chapter 2
Enjoyable but it felt a little disjointed at times and perhaps could be 30 mins shorter. That said the cast are great and there are some genuinely creepy scenes in it.

Disjointed and enjoyable is perfect way to describe it. That emotional ending really justified the journey for me.

Yes that ending was great. Right in the feels.

Jim Carrey introduced me to Guns N' Roses.

You'll see...

Oh man. This takes me back to an interview on MTV with GnR back when they were breaking (with Appetite) and Axel and Slash are bitching on the producers decision to not use them but some lame dude miming that song. HAHAHAAHA.

The Lighthouse- Plenty of disturbing and creepy imagery in this movie which I loved.
Contrary to what some may think, Robert Patterson is a great actor. Willem Dafoe was also great too of course.

Spoiler
I kind of like the theory that both Patterson and Dafoe's characters are one in the same.

Us- considering how overrated I found Get Out to be, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Just don't think about it too hard. It's a fun, campy horror flick. The final showdown with Lupita Nyong'o was beautifully choreographed.

Underwater- I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It had a lot of Alien vibes and was a decent monster horror flick. I l didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did and I actually felt invested in the characters. Solid cast all around.

I'm working my way through the collection and just found out Jim Carry is in the last one.

Oh geez.

I've always had a soft spot for The Dead Pool and I'm not quite sure why.

Harry Potter, as a conjunction the first three is mostly okay- the Prisoner of Azkaban is nearly perfect though and it's a pity Alfonso Cuaron never Directed the rest of the series- because after that it's mostly garbage.

Joker.

Wasn't bad, but literally felt like the Senua's Sacrifice of cinema.

1917

Absolutely bloody fantastic.

If Deakins doesn't get the Oscar for Best Cinematography, he's been robbed.

I can't remember ever feeling so utterly drained (in a good way) after walking out of the cinema before.

My last draining experience was Avengers Infinity War. The film end was getting closer and I tensely knew people were going to die... and I remember there was a huge gasp in the theater when Thanos stabbed Tony, but that was a misdirect. And it ended with such a gut punch. Good stuff.

With that said, I'm looking forward to 1917.
