If there was a forcefield, the ship would not have caught on fire... So this crashlanding OUGHT to have started a fire, but if a fire would erupt, then not only the hunter and son would have seen it, but EVERYONE, especially Gunnison's Fire brigade, and then there would be trouble because there would be more than one person knowing the Predator ship was down there, so pop goes continuity...  ____________________________________________ __  yeh u mite b right? about the force field but lets just wait till the movie comes out, it mite be explained.

That's usually my fanboydom's first mistake...to wait till I see the movie...the same happened with Die Hard 4 and I still haven't recovered...          Also, the crashlanding is pathetically slow, given the sheer velocity the ship was falling, seen quite easily in the father-son shot, so how come the ship landed so slowly...? If you see it carefully, the ship travels less than half a mile before coming to almosta  complete stop, which is quite unrealistic in terms of physics..unledd they had flaps that could slow it down, though it doesn't seem like it... So add another mistake to that...

Okay its all making sense now. UK gets AVP2 as a title becasue your not getting it on christmas.
