Callbacks and winks at the audience are absolutley not needed. It cheapens the experience of these films.

I don't mind alluding to events or characters of previous films but repeated dialogue and copied scenes are never a good thing imo.

the callbacks in Prey felt pretty organic to the film, PREDATORS is obviously the one that steps a bit over the line.

Yep, that was bad. I'm willing to bet money on the fact that the actor wasn't pleased to say it.

Agreed, was very out of place, forced and took me out of the scene.
