My new screen capture program can actually get captions from cdisplay which I use to read the comics I downloaded, therefore I can grab screen captures and upload them to the web.

There's a particular shot in Cold that I like and its from Issue one and its when a predator cuts off one of the Russian soldier's head. If you could get that I'd be very thankful. Get the other people first though.

I was thinking the same thing. In the last email he sent me, he told me that there are lots of interesting stories in the comics and novels for AvP3. At which point, I told him he shouldn't be looking at those for stories. He also mentioned King Aliens to me so god only knows what AvP3 will be like if these guys get the job. I suppose if you're just flicking through comics and saw that, I guess it would look kinda cool. It would never work in a movie though.
Thats the problem the Bros have, they'll put stuff in a movie based on it's 'coolness', they don't really look into it any other way. Anyways, it does look good, it looks mechanical and skeletal-like.

But yes, those are the Praetorians. You can tell because they have the huge freaking pincers on the side of their head. They have the same design in Genocide. Rogue doesn't have any Praetorians, just weird animal Aliens.

Comics? Aliens: Tribes isn't a comic. It's more like a novel with occasional pictures like I posted above.
There isn't any human/Alien hybrid in Tribes. At all.
There's a giant exo-suit, a fat dude in a control room, a guy with a half-metal face, and a doctor who's incubating an Alien and keeps pumping himself full of drugs. The guy hanging off the exo-suit in the picture Darkness posted is melting away from severe acid burns.
The interesting thing about that T-Rex sized bugger from the excellent Batman Vs. Aliens miniseries, is that thing was supposed to be twice as large as it did when it showed up in final miniseries. The original splash page, drawn by Bernie Wrightson, uncolored, showing this hang proudly in in director, Frank Darabont's house.

I didn't mind that aspect. I don't see why a race of super advanced aliens couldn't understand and program that in our language.
Well we know that they know our language and can "speak" the language so makes sences that they could program it to the bio mask but I mean for the armor looks............well I think it's bio mask. Or the fact he doesn't have dreds.

Don't have scans handy, but the artwork for Alien3 is rubbish. Resurrection is better, but the characters are based on Caro's designs, rather than Bob Ringwoods, and bare little resemblance to those in the film (Call and Ripley aside).

I have Nightmare asylum and that definetley does not appear on my comic book, what you're asking come from a first edition or something? I wasn't aware of that where can I learn more.

Only appears in the Steve Perry book. There was a lot which was modified for that. In the original comic it's based on, they're never shown being trained in firing weapons. Unless they added some art for the editions where Hicks/Newt got changed to Wilks/Billie, of course, but so far as I know, none was ever commissioned.
Spears was apparently planning to use them in hand-to-hand combat only (which is incredibly strange, because they don't have any advantage against the normal Aliens, that way).
Would've been more practical to give them wearable or clamped auto-cueing energy weapons. Would have to look different to Predator ones, but the basic principle is sound.

I purchased the AVP Omnibus #1 (I think it's the Omnibus, but it has a different cover to the one I see on the xenopedia, it's a full wrap around cover that has Machiko on the back. I'm assuming this was the original version.)
Anyway, i've been looking online for the initial story between Scott Tom/Predator Hunting party making preparations for another hunt. However, I can only seem to find it online in B&W form. I was wondering if anyone had that story/those pages in a digital archive I might be able to get my hands on? I don't exactly want to bend and fold this comic into my scanner to get them if I can avoid it. I need this strictly for reference. If someone has this and could maybe PM it to me (If it's not allowed here publically for whatever reason) i'd greatly appreciate it. :)

Crusade has 90 pages to it & I'm certainly not going to sit here & try to upload 90 pages haha Countdown is a lot smaller. 1st issue I got 7 pages for that & 9 pages for #2. No prob, I try. I like to share the things I have if others don't. I'm not greedy in the slightest when it comes to comics. Sure I wish I had real copies of ALL of it but for some, scan is the only way I get to read them until I do replace with a real copy. Though with Aliens & Predator, even if I have the real issues, I still grabbed scans for just in case.
So you have the physical issues of Aliens & Preds and scans just in case the paper ones get burnt/vanish, etc... That's a fan folks!

Those space marines ones had some interesting looking aliens...but prefer the regular drones ones.
I wasn't sure if it was dumb or fun to see Apone, Drake, Hicks, Ripley & Bishop fighting together since it made absolutely no sense.
This series showed me why I don't want to see or hear of anymore Ripleys chasing after Aliens with guns.

Labyrinth is my personal favorite. I would love to see a stop motion adaption of one of the Aliens comics! I'm a big fan of stop motion myself. Dabbled with it a couple times in the past so I can definitely appreciate the high amount of work put into that craft.
May I request a capture from the comic Agents of Law #6. Its the single best Predator crossover comic ever. The page were the Predator gets his trophy.

Law was a failed dark horse villain who's series was doing really badly, so come #6 the comic was getting axed so the creator decided change the ending. After what is easily one of the top 5 Predator fights ever (a massive brawl through a tower block that lasts almost the whole bloody comic!) the predator dose the impossible for a cross over comic.....He kills the main character. You cannot top that for a twist ending!

Its hard to say, but if you dig the art then yeah its probably worth it. I didnt really like the art myself but its a fun and interesting story. The cover art is quite wonderful though, one of my favorites actually.
Regarding motion comics... Is anyone able to grab a screen capture from the
Predators Blu Ray special features? I am looking for the title cards for each of the motion comics, and am missing three:
- Noland pt 1
- Hanzo
- Noland pt 2
I attached two of the others for example.

Has anyone ever scanned Aliens Magazine and/or the Alien 3 spinoff? How about the stuff from the big black "Facehugger Case" VHS box set (booklets, Alien War card, etc)? The Alien 3 collectable cards? I seem to think I've seen the latter online somewhere a while back. What about the issue of Vortex Magazine (Winter 1993) that covered the Aliens RPG by Leading Edge?
I ask because I'd like scans, but also because I own lots of Aliens stuff (including the above) and would be happy to scan mine at some point if it wasn't too much work if nobody else has done so (I did scan the Dark Horse freebie comic "Countdown" for this site many years ago).
Personally, I'd LOVE the W-Y Report extras; would gladly pay for them even but I've never seen it for sale over here in Australia or online for anything close to a sensible price. Ditto on Isolation press kit stuff!

Same here, it is just to much to pay to get the final issue of crusade. If they reprint crusade as it's own thing at a reasonable price I'd be all in.

Any Alien in the mavrel comic that isn't a trace over. Not a joke just curious
The first two issues were from a specific "artist" and almost all of their Aliens were traced. From the 3rd issue onwards, there are almost none. The human born Aliens from the most recent couple of comics are some of the best I've seen in a while.
The collection of short stories though (black, white and blood), has some tracing again, but not too much.
