So in some recent interviews, like the one on the podcast with Alex White, he mentioned that Prometheus is a separate licence from Alien. Which begs the question of whether there's going to be Prometheus-branded novels, and what they would even entail.
Aside from obvious stuff like direct sequel/prequel novels about Shaw or other cast members, what do you think such novels would be about?
One thing off the top of my head that comes to mind is that, in the promotional material for the film, they showed an empty black goo urn as an archaeological artifact that had been discovered on earth. I'd love a story about the black goo getting released in, say, the heart of the Aztec empire or some such. Could be interesting.
