:o

Sounds really cool, even if I have no idea what a MS DOS is.

... what?

No, nothing that mild. You completely obliterated our faith in humanity (or what was left of it).

Mr. Weyland

I am very interested in the mystery behind this game, I must search the internet as hard as possible, the truth is out there.

Mr. Domino

Not as far as I've been able to find, its not. Trying to find anything on this game is almost as futile as looking for info on Operation: Aliens. More so, even. I'm gonna have to do some serious digging, as things like this really bother me.

MadassAlex

Well, there only appears to be one lead:

It was going to be published by Activision. From that image, we can't even tell if they were the developers or not, and if not, who the developers actually are is in such fine print as to be unreadable.

Don't know if anyone at Activision would be willing to talk about it, either, as Sega currently have the rights.

Mr. Domino

@ Shinigami, could you either scan the page in higher res, or post the text that's unreadable on the page?

No one wants to play this more then I do! I've been searching relentlessly!!

Here is the advertisement as it was in the Activision catalog:

You can play as the Alien Queen?

Ossim.

Mr. Weyland

I have come across many other cancelled Aliens and Predator games I have never hear of, but nothing on this game yet.  :-\

I am sorry for the long delay, i moved towns! The illegible text in the image (assuming u are referring to the blue box on the cover art) is actually just as hard to read on the actual brochure as it is in my scan.   :-S

Under the inspection of a magnifying glass, it appears to be only the system requirements.

My heart is broken at the thought of this game never being finished........

Mr. Domino

So it doesn't say anything about a developer? The other two Activision AVP games were both outsourced to other developers, so the thought would be that this one had been as well, and if we know who was working on it, we know where to start digging.

Sadly, no..... All we know is Activision, 1993, Twentieth century Fox.

I'm afraid this game is all but lost.

TITANOSAUR

wow, this got my attention.

how in the world could a game like this get lost without showing up somewhere? judging by the catelog, the game was released in 93. that may have been well over 17 years ago, but even games like that show up every now and again. we May need to look into other places. like flee Markets, Garage/Yard Sails, and other places. I will look around on the internets as well.

no Develouper? wierd, its probly stated somewhere on the back of the package.

Corporal Hicks

That's if it was ever released!
