This is one of the reasons I *really* can't wait for 'Alien Rogue Incursion' 😃 - I think (probably like many here) the amount of horror movies / games I've experienced from a young age, I'm totally desensitised to it; I always enjoy horror and vibe with the atmospheric ones, but never feel scared, (mainly just enjoy the genre), with one single exception; Resident Evil 7 on PSVR; the VR added some 'realism' I hadn't expected! When Ethan's girlfriend burst through the wall with a chainsaw, and that rotating blade quickly came right up to your face in 3D, it scared the crap outa me, and I instinctively on reflex jumped back to dodge it (totally forgetting in the moment I'm in a chair with wires attached to me) and thanks to
@Spicy-Nugget937 's cat-like reflexes, she caught my chair. 🤣 But it was SUCH a buzz / rush that I hadn't experienced actually being caught out by it. Given how Alien Isolation is high adrenaline as a 2D game, I think Rogue Incursion is gonna be a crap-your-pants fest even with the pulse rifle when xenos are above you, behind you etc (especially knowing that the ai learns and changes each play through!) Totally can't wait for this one! :-D
