Of all the things and all the years and all the times I've watched Alien; tonight is the first time I notice that Jonesy is not inside of the box. Schrodinger is going to have a fit. Also why not just stick a stuff cat plush inside to retain the realism.

Now I don't know if the prop department screwed up or if this is more fodder for the Jonesy was in on it conspiracy theory. What do you guys think? Is Jonesy real or just a figment of the crews imagination. :P

The glass could just be opaque and he's a very nice not at all noisy kitty.

The Alien took Jonesy onto the shuttle already.

I'm having visions of the last scene in the narcissus, only a giant furry cats paw comes flying out at Ripley instead of an alien claw.

We know he was there for Brett's death. Do we have any confirmation regarding his whereabouts during Dallas's kidnapping?

We all know the cat is the true xenomorph god but I'm still in awe at how for so many years I never notice the cat wasn't in there. I mean no shit in hindsight, considering how she just drops the box and flips it through the door and all but yet. :P

In the extended scene the alien is seen bitch slapping the box, meaning Jonesy got out and gave the alien an arse kicking. Which is why it appears slow and stagnate near the end of the movie. Still what was he doing while outside of the box. Is the cat David?
