Pretty sure that's essentially what it is. A cartoonish Fortnite character just wearing the mask. Not an actual Predator.
Yeah the left one is the actual Predator that'll be appearing in the game, the right one looks like some character (maybe Kratos?) wearing a different Predator mask.

I'm pretty sure these 2 are fake, the only thing dataminers found was the backpack which uses a skull from Predator 2

I don't really play this game (maybe 10 hours total since release), but people bag on it. It's actually pretty good and if you learn to build and fight at the same time its really good. Yes, its a fad, but it does a lot of things really well.
Yeah I'm playing this specifically cause I want to see what's up with the crossover. I missed out on Ghost Recon but otherwise I could try this out.
Given Epic's deal with Illfonic I'm wondering if Hunting Grounds would get some promotion out of this. BTW why would the skull be the backpack? The Predator's gun is literally mounted on their back pack. Granted it's the medical kit but they usually come equipped with a backpack by default.
I guess the Predator for this will be Jungle Hunter which isn't surprising since most everybody uses him as the default. I wonder if that's in a contract, like you get to use Predator but you have to use Jungle Hunter.

That render and mask leak are fake dw, the only thing leaked so far has been the backpack
If that's the case someone did a really good job with it. Either way I'd imagine it'll probably end up looking very similar to that.

I may have played Fortnite once or twice a few years ago. So I thought I'd be kind of f**ked going to kill Predator but nailed it on my first go. After screwing with the cloaking device I'm like "what's next?" purple cloud kills me so I guess that settles that. So yeah I got Predator on basically nothing but my first try. Next match I also won as Predator with a default pistol. So basically I whipped it's ass and proceeded to demolish the next group as Predator. I'll probably stick with the game for a bit. It's honestly kind of funny to see Predator in that environment.
Hmm... it's tempting...
I've only ever watched my fiance's nieces and nephew play it while being confused by the overall point of the game haha, hopefully at least I'll get to see them play as a predator now

Yeah, I wish he got something akin to the Ironman backpack, which has 2 shoulder canons that pop out when you go aim
I can understand it tho, may not look like it, but the Predator got ALOT of unique features, a interactive emote , pickaxe and skin aswell as unique animations and a being a boss, having a interactive backpack could be too much for just a single character, so it's understadanble, ngl I hope we get Alien and more Predators in the future in the game

Very unlikely, seeing as the new Pred movie is very far and this is the OG design, the inclusion is because he(and Terminator) fit into the theme of Fortnite's current season, which are Hunters

For Fortnite, I personally think they did a helluva job! I don't put as strict demands on the Fortnite model and paint as I do say Predator Hunting Grounds, but I think they created a real nice cartoon version of the Jungle Hunter, as well as his mannerisms too. The way he lifts his bio-mask off for instance. Very cool! On its way to creating a new generation of Predator fans, I hope! 👏

It's the fort building Kailem, isn't it! Yeah, if so, I'm certainly not the biggest fan of that aspect either. But still, truth be told, I have become a fan of the game that has surpassed wanting to try Predator and Alien skins. :)
Yeah my biggest gripe with the game is the building, which is usually why I go in Team modes, so I have someone to build for me while I do the shooting lmao

Can anyone give some pointers what game mode this is best explored in?
Im a total Fortnite newbie and a bit overwhelmed by the UI.
It first asks for Save The World, Battle Royale and Creative.
Battle Royale I think is the best thing for a newbie to dip your toe in. Jump from a flying bus, land somewhere on the island, find guns and shoot other players (while the playing field gets more & more condensed) and try to be the last person standing! :)
I think there is a new season already, is the Predator still available?
Unfortunately no. Tomb Raiding Lara Croft (among others) is this season's battle pass character unlock by leveling.
So all the Predator and Xenomorph stuff are gone from the game or is there still something?

Predator will likely not come back for a long time since he was an event boss, thus he is a very rare skin
The Alien came back for Alien day some weeks ago, tho the next season will be UFO themed, so maybe Alien and Ripley might come back
But you can still get Colonial Marine Jonesy by grinding the current battlepass!
The Predator in it's current incarnation won't likely be available again because it's earned through battle pass progression, not purchased.
However, I wouldn't be shocked to see a different "Skulls" Predator and Kee become available to purchase around the release of the film to promote it.
Maybe we'll get non BP Pred incarnations like the City Hunter at some point, same with Alien
