Live and Let Die's on TV right now. Yaphett was great in this.

Jane Seymour was better for me ... growing up watching this as a young teen  ;D

Aye. To sample Dr. Quinn's medicine, as it were.  ;)

Entirely fair comment.

Black Friday (1940)

Quite a different film from a lot of Universal's old stuff, and pretty interesting to watch. Shame Bela Lugosi is wasted on a nothing supporting role, though.

Vagrant (1992)
Bill Paxton vs a creepy homeless guy.
Bit average but the role was almost written for Paxton. He starts regular nervous, becomes panicky and goes full paranoid towards the end.

Also, that poster : :D

Farewell, My Queen (2012)

I really enjoyed this. Pretty gut-wrenching end.

Ad Astra

Finally got to see this. Really enjoyed it, although the ending felt disappointingly lacklustre. Serious Apocalypse Now/Heart of Darkness vibes.

Funny you should say that 'cause I've recently seen clip of de-aged Joe Pesci and it reminded me of Pollar Express

The Cut (2014)

Pretty unsparing Fatih Akin film about an Armenian father who in 1915 is "recruited" by Turkish soldiers and thereby separated from his family and caught up in the man-eating maelstrom formed by war and expulsion. Armenian-Turkish and other ethnic conflicts adding to the fun.

Certainly not part of Erdogans movie collection.

Operation Finale

It felt well sourced and less Hollywood embellished.  Horrible what happened, may we never see such hate ever again  :-\

Pumpkinhead...

....I hadn't seen this movie in forever and for it being Stan Winstons directorial debut, he didn't do too bad and especially on a budget of $3million.

I do wish the creature did more than throw bodies against trees, kinda felt like a missed opportunity with how crazy/creepy Pumpkinhead is.
