Was a fun watch, but i couldnt help but darkly chuckle at part of the ending. Just because of the attitude of Liz Taylor's Character

This right here is the main reason why I prefer actually owning films on physical media to streaming them.

Did you really think they'd feature the rough Assembly Cut though? Fincher wasn't even involved. This one seems obvious to me at most.

AlienĀ³'s Theatrical Cut's just as rough though, Aliens' the only one that I find the experience of watching each version as enjoyable personally.

I'd argue it's even more rough. I always watch AC and caught TC once on TV and, God, all the cuts were so obvious. Especially in "big fire badaboom" sequence - when it litteraly goes from the shot of sprinklers turning on to Dillon looking at dead inmate who is supposed to be killed by Golic in AC. That transition is just ugh

Fair point too. I mean most of us on here probably own those films in some physical capacity (heck I own so many different reiterations of them it's not funny dating back to the old VHS versions).

Which makes me think why the heck I'm so excited about a streaming version when my hard media versions are superior in every way.

:D

The AC is too obscure for them.
