I felt somewhat bored and distracted, but it's an interesting concept.
Spoiler
If you saw Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, you can expect similar though more confusing narrative.

Spoiler
In the end, it's all an inner fantasy of a depressive, with a somewhat schizoid personality, janitor who dreams of a more successful version of himself.

I highly recommend "You Were Never Really Here" instead

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)

Has some good action scenes, but is overall pretty lacking. And Daniel Craig's American accent is awful, it was no Knives Out, for sure.

Mission: Impossible III

This is a great return to form for the series after 2, and it has possibly the best villain out of all of them.

The Black Phone

Overall a well done horror movie, with a creepy turn from Ethan Hawke.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Very good, but I'd only rank it above 2.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

So good. Switching to Christopher McQuarrie and sticking with him was definitely the right choice.

Essential July 4th viewing. "Wake up, Franklin, you're going to New Brunswick!" "Like hell I am. What for? " "The whoring and the drinking!"

America: The Motion Picture

Just the right mix of unbelievably stupid and incredibly funny.

Seven, easily David Fincher's best.

The Game, easily his worst.

Mallrats (1995)
Dogma (1999)
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
Clerks II (2006)
Jay & Silent Bob Reboot (2019)

A bit of a Kevin Smith binge these past couple of days.  Haven't watched Chasing Amy as I don't like it.  I keep saying I'll revisit it but can't bring myself to just yet.

Yoga Hosers (2016)

Thought this one was absolute rubbish.

Noise

2007 Australian film. Damn fine film, given it lacks the essential elements of basic drama: explosions, robots, monsters and space-ships.  ;)
