If players can say with certainty that x enemy is a Runner, and Runners have xyz rules and HP, it gives them a sense of structure and stability that a horror game should ideally be stripping them of.
Oh yeah, like its the player character's first encounter with the xenomorph?

[cancerblack]

Generally, yes. It's a lot less tense and scary if they've met them before and lived - the whole point is that just seeing one is usually a death sentence.

There was another free fan made one called Aliens Game Over by Michael Tresca. Not sure if it's availability these days.

Don't know. I have a copy but haven't rolled a dice in anger since the 90s.

[cancerblack]

Would be a curiosity if nothing else, if you feel like uploading it.

Here you go.

I had a feeling there was a Resurrection expansion, but maybe that was FUZION.

Cool, I will have to read through this more thoroughly when I get the time.

Thanks for that.

I should probably try and scrape together what passes for a ruleset for my game, it's just badly scattered after several computer deaths and I don't want to re-type or format a bunch of stuff.

You should put on a backup drive or a USB or burn it to a disk.

[cancerblack]

A lot of it exists only as physical print-outs at the moment, and I haven't owned anything that can burn disks in like, 15 years.
