Hello everyone,
I'm the author of a series of Reshade presets for Alien: Isolation, which I consider the best game ever made based on the cinematic franchise. Up until about a year ago, I was sharing my mods on the NexusMods community, but since the time and effort required had become quite significant, I decided to continue development by sharing my work on Patreon, hoping to recover at least a small part of the time investment.
My work so far has focused on enhancing the cinematic feel of the game, aiming to deliver a more realistic and faithful color grading that closely matches the look of Ridley Scott's Alien (1979).
I'm writing here to ask if there's any way to partially replace the game's music with the original film score, and also whether it's possible to swap out NPC face textures—especially those featured in the DLCs set aboard the Nostromo. I know that OpenCage allows access to the game's assets and data, but I'm still struggling to fully understand how it works and whether it can be used for this kind of modding.
I really hope to get some help improving my work, in an effort to keep this amazing game alive—at least until Alien: Isolation 2 is released (and I suspect we'll be waiting a long time for that).
I'll share a link here to the gameplay footage of the latest version of my Reshade preset to give you a better idea of the kind of work I'm doing.
Thanks to anyone willing to share advice or lend a hand!
