Did the Predator jump into the water after Dutch?

It's an incredible scene, maybe the best in the movie.

And I never suspected some people would miss that it jumps in the water. It seems part of the cinematographic language, like, the entire scene is built around this.

The fact it's a moving shot with cloaking effects all done with early motion control cameras and optical printing is exactly why the movie won an Oscar.
