Agree with Sil... while agreeing that the Jungle in Predator felt very hot, oppresive, scary, and claustrophobic when I first watched it.
They did a good job with what they had. Its weird but Silvestri's score helps sell it. It wasnt til later that some of the flaws stood out.
I always love that my mom felt it was the perfect film. Mystery, Action, scifi, horror, comedy, good writing, great effects, and buff dudes all in an entertaining soup.
