AVP2010 Multiplayer was bad for consoles for sure. Instead of being able to drop into any active match (if there is space) you instead have to queue until a new match becomes available.

Console match-making was an absolute nightmare, but they had they had that functionality in the PC version with the server browser. I can't remember if it was there at launch, but it eventually came. Like AvP2, 2010 is another game that will normally always have a server active.

sorry for necroposting but I just wanted to say, I like the comic book graphics of AVP2 made it feel like you are in the Dark Horse Comics which were the best comics for Alien, Predator and AVP
