Is the Shaman, and other later Ultimate figures more possible, and have better articulation? Because every single NECA Pred I have is stiff as hell, and can barely move, and when they do, the articulation on the mold is not symmetrical. Legs and arms move in different positions from each other. Last I bought was the Ultimate Scout.
It's really bad.
Unfortunately, it's really hit or miss. Out of the three Shaman predator figures I have, only one had moveable hips that were not stuck. To be fair though it was only stuck on the side that the loincloth would limit anyway. Here is a list of the newer releases with good hip and body joints:
Ultimate Jungle Hunter predator
Ultimate Elder Predator
Ultimate Stalker predator
Ultimate Boar predator
Ultimate Battle armor lost predator
Ultimate Snake predator
Ultimate Fugitive predator
Ultimate Stone heart predator
Ultimate Feral Predator (all versions)
Ultimate Predator Bad Blood 2 pack figures
Ultimate Alpha Predator
Ultimate Ahab Predator
DC crossover predators
A good rule of thumb is the jungle Hunter body will almost never have stuck hip or arm joints for some reason. The city hunter style body usually has this issue except for the ones I listed that are good. Any AVP style body will also be good.
All of the AVP figures have good joints including Serpent Hunter and Scarface from Concrete Jungle
Nearly all non Ultimate and AVP releases prior to the ones listed will have excessively loose joints in the hips and shoulders.
All other Predator 2 Ultimate figures have had consistent stuck joints, immovable hips. Which include:
Ultimate Battle damaged city hunter
Ultimate City Hunter
Ultimate Shaman Predator
Ultimate Guardian Predator
Ultimate Warrior Predator
Ultimate Scout Predator
So there you have it. An entire list of good jointed vs bad jointed figures. 👍
