I really enjoy the Director's Cut. Not a perfect movie by any means, but a really cool early del Toro film (his first American film, actually) with some great creatures.
Just stay away from the theatrical cut. The Weinsteins hacked that one apart pretty badly. :-\

When I watched the Blackstar video, I thought about LV-426 and a bit of Jon Spaihts script where Shaw (don't remember the original name) got stuck with David on the planet in an open ending. Something like an epilogue.

Twilight Zone. The latter it's more like Kafkaesque / Surrealistic fantasy, but there were sci-fi episodes from time to time. I prefer the Twilight Zone though.

I love both shows, but I too prefer the Twilight Zone. The Outer Limits is one show that I actually wouldn't mind seeing revived. My favorite episode was the one with the energy being (first episode?) And the one with carnival ride that's a spaceship :laugh:

And a movie is a shit idea in anyway because you'd have to explain most of the setting, or at least the Imperium and one other faction, before even getting to the plot, and there's your first hour gone before anything good happens.
