It's an exercise in futility. Wow, you kill one Alien and get ... one Alien.

Inbreeding is typically frowned upon in most species; Aliens don't even mate sexually, so I'm figuring trying to face-hug one wouldn't go down too well.

Forget the why -- just imagine what would come out. A more 'pure' Alien?

You couldn't get a 'pure' Alien by face-hugging another Alien because the host Alien's already 'mixed'. Face-hugging it would just create a horrible mess.

In-breeding is in-breeding. I don't imagine the rules change from creature to creature, alien or otherwise.

Certain species of mites mate pretty much exclusively through incest.

And not even 'okay now you're old enough let's do it' incest - 'Alright, you're barely out of mum, let's do it' incest.

Mites are hardcore.
