Adi has done the effects for Tremors and Evolution. Definitively not cheap.

But they were cheap with the AVP and AVPR Alien designs.

Whether it was budget restrictions that resorted them to using the A:R molds or not,it's still pretty cheap.

It sounds like they didn't have a choice. I say what we do is what we always do when something goes wrong in this franchise. Blame the producers!!!!

Bad ones too. There was no reason, no reason, to modify the head design. They could have simply made moulds of the Warrior heads from Aliens and used those to save time and money.

There was a reason, so they could try to make their "mark" on the Alien, but clearly it never works.

They couldn't just re-use the Aliens head design because whatever they made needed to fit over the existing animatronics.

That being said, removing the dome, rounding out the back, and making the neck three times too big was hell'a dumb.

My only beef is enlarging the neck. I don't have a problem with the other alterations.

My main problem besides the neck is they didn't bother retouching the forehead, giving them that goofy-as overbite. That skull worked when there was a dome over it, not so much without.
