Yes Tom says int he ALien 3 commentary that they didnt match up, they werent painted right or somehting along those lines.

I don't like the Alien gloves, they look more like Predator hands, even the painting would be accurate.

It's not like they're visible in the film.  Only in stills.

I know, i never noticed this in the movie, but looking at those stills you can really tell when Winston left and ADI took over.

Eh?  Look at some stills from Aliens where they look like black leotards with bits of black tube stuck on them.  You can really tell when Giger left and Winston took over.
