I don't think it'd work that way. Even if there was a tool that saves linked images, you have to manually go into the code of IG posts to rip the image URL out. You're not linking directly to IG images. I don't think he'd want that kind of function anyway. We don't want to save every single image being linked to here.

Yeah, with the Instagram images you'd have to do it manually. I've seen some forums that when you link to an image in your post it asks you whether you want to save it to the forum's server as well. That said, I think most of the broken image links in this thread was probably due to Photobucket getting all greedy and shit a few years back. But it seems those images are now back up but with a Photobucket watermark?

It's kind of funny how Ripley and Newt's likeness are quite accurate in the Aliens posters (well, at least the bottom one) but the Alien Queen (or whatever that thing is supposed to be) is like totally WTF?
