I did partake heavily after the fact, but the thing that set me off was being physically shoved/cut in front of at the store, immediately after an hour long meeting.

Oh, then a couple of hours later, it became apparent we'd be going into a big lockdown, but thanks to my banks new policy on deposits, I didn't have any money to do groceries before the harsh restrictions came into play. Then as we were waiting for official word, the power went off mid afternoon and didn't come back on til 1am, so the last night of "freedom" I had:
No money to buy my weekly goods before the other morons horde it all
No light
No heat (it's mid winter)
No ability to cook food (no gas here, all electric)

The power stuff has been happening a lot, about a week ago a few old people froze to death on the coldest day of the year because of a power cut directly caused by a combination of greed and incompetence.
