Also, couscous is technically pasta, and one of my absolute favourites is a tabbouleh salad based on couscous with some grilled beef dry rubbed in ras el hanout (basted in lime juice as it cooks), and some beetroot hummus and mint yoghurt.
I do my best cooking in the bedroom.

It's a type of sour cream. I actually bought the wrong type, but it ended up pretty good nonetheless.
Fair enough. You should try unsweetened yoghurt with a sprinkle of sweet paprika and fresh coriander (cilantro). Or mint, if you're not into coriander. Great with refried beans and/or pulled pork.

1) Newspaper chips are nostalgic but pretty poisonous lol.
2) Broth was beef stock, golden soy sauce and sesame oil. Seasonings were chili flakes and coriander flakes. Garnish of diced garlic, and finely shredded leek, celery leaf and carrot.

Definitely worth trying if you have the time to cook an additional step, or make it as a main with some extra and use it up the next day with rice. You can get pretty good char siu sauce in jars, in most places, and pork loin/belly are always tasty cuts.

Wild ??? They don't seem to have much of a presence in my region. I did some Googling, and only two of the eight states that border mine have one. I don't remember seeing them in TX either. It may be more of a West Coast place.
It gets referenced (derisively) in American Dad a lot.
It's similar to Taco Bell, but I always get Del if I have a choice.
My go-to fast food is El Pollo Loco though.

My personal favourite is to make a stew of chicken with onions, red capsicum, red chilies, chickpeas, kidney beans, lima beans and borlotti beans, spiced with a bit of cumin and paprika, then bake it in a cornmeal pastry crust.
But sometimes you just can't go past the basic chicken and gravy in flaky pastry.
How much planning goes into your cooking? It sounds complicated.
A lot at first, then very little once I have a dish figured out and want to make it again.

I make salmon pie fairly often.
One of my favourite things to make currently is a chocolate mousse dessert that's as simple as mixing a tin of coconut cream with some coconut sugar and cocoa powder, setting in the fridge for half an hour, then mixing in a pinch or two of sea salt. It's sweeter and richer than the usual chocolate mousse, a more complex flavour, and slightly less bad for you.
