Quote from: Oasis Nadrama on Nov 03, 2024, 09:15:19 AMTo say that it is a "theory" or "not a part of the movie" is certainly denial/gaslighting/whatever, but NCF19 is allowed to be disturbed by whatever element they want.
He can absolutely
feel however he wants. But he shouldn't be making up lies about it just because of his
feelings towards the subject.
So, I was specifically addressing
@NCF19 's comment...
Quote(let's humor the idea that it was intentional for the sake of this argument)
Because it has absolutely zero truth. And he continues to say it wasn't intentional, or Fede didn't
mean to put it in there, and is just making a continued ridiculous claim that Bjorn isn't the father when the director himself is saying that Bjorn
IS the father.
Which is why I went out of my way to find these two quotes to show him that Bjorn is indeed the father. Regardless of his feelings of the subject. The Director - Fede Alvarez - was literally on his online account responding to another Reddit user confirming this from a fan. It's very simple and clear.
QuoteI watched the movie yesterday in IMAX and loved it!
Incredible experience, incredible movie.
Right before Bjorn's death, he and Kay share a moment where they touch each other in a very intimate way. Am I the only one who thought this was a sign that Bjorn is the "jerk" who got her pregnant?
QuoteOn the Alien subreddit, one user made a post to discuss a spoiler-heavy theory on the identity of the father of Kay's child. Álvarez commented on the post, confirming the redditor's suspicion. "Yes, he is. Good catch!" Álvarez wrote.
And I guess the reason this gets me slightly annoyed is because this is a fan website that tries to eliminate all the BS or untruthful comments surrounding the franchise. It's where we try to use credible sources from the people that worked on the material to know every meaning of what into the film.
And it is very clearly stated the director said Bjorn is the father. End of discussion.
Now if that's upsetting or disgusting is another subject, and if you watch the movie and want to think, "He's not the father." Well that can be your own head canon, but just know that it's not true at all since the director stated otherwise.
And definitely DO NOT be posting blatant misinformation that it wasn't intended or Fede didn't mean to do it. Other users or people skimming through might read that and get false information which could make this more confusing than it has to be.
