Here in the UK at least it was always "The Ukraine" when I was growing up.

It's only fairly recently (pre-the war though) that it's become known as just "Ukraine".

Same in the US.

My favorite is ultimately Alien. That's not to say that it's a better film than Aliens, but there's something about Alien that speaks to me on a personal level; the mystery, the look, those Lovecraftian angles. This is the film that opens up your imagination.

For me Alien is the top of the bunch. Aliens was okay but was just too corny and more like an action movie, I prefer Alien 3 over Aliens.
