NECA Aliens

Completely different sculpts, neither are accurate to the film, but I find the actual one to be more offensive to me as a fan of the proper design.

The FTE one inarguably has the other one beat in quality control, in balance, in actually getting into Runner poses if that means anything.

The mouth area looks pretty wack, like most NECA Aliens, whereas everything's all over the place with the Ultimate Alien except for the mouth, the torso and tail, the arms and legs and head shape's f**ked. It comes with a couple of great accessories and it is twice the size of every other NECA Alien though, whereas the AFE one honestly looks closer to Mafex scale.

The Kotobukiya version's the ideal sculpt, and the Ultimate's just too far away from that for me to like it.

this is on Amazon for $60 could it be a bootleg? I them on pkacesclike aliexpress but does anyone know if therevareveven bootlegs for this? Is there  comprehensive list of Neca alien bootlegs? Also is there a boorleg of the rhino alien? I have two and niether have the yelliw drybrushing on the head, iv seen this version in online reviews aswell.

The big 22-inch one?

I got mine last year, from a reputable seller (that doesn't do bootlegs). Mine arrived mint in box, when I opened it up and assembled the figure ... I was disappointed. The figure looked so much better in YouTube video reviews than in hand. Perhaps the figure looks different on camera? The 2019 (40th anniversary edition) figure is darker in colour than the 2015 release. The dome is painted to be more screen accurate.

I prefer the 2015 release (same sculpt, different paint-job). I customised my figure with some additional paint touch-ups (the jaws tendons, back of the head, and shiny silver to the teeth). He's looking much better now. Got him supported by a Kaiser doll stand.

Just add ".au" to the end of the usual URL. The stock is often different to the US site, presumably they have some warehouse space in Aus and some things don't sell out as fast (others sell out much faster).
