After giving it some thought, I'm okay with this movie being in a separate continuity. Hell, the character started out with a rival company to begin with. My only gripe would be that this rules out that awesome fight from Kingdom Come ever making it to the big screen.

Well it would be like if Marvel released a film during it's early MCU phase and kept it outside of continuity. Not good if you're just trying to establish the foundation, which is apparently what DC is doing.

I just hope that if DC/Vertigo decides to go through with films on Constantine, Swamp-Thing, JL Dark, etc. those are their own thing.
