On topic, I would love if they find a way to finish David's quest, but I don't think it's necessary.

I would love different, not necessary connected stories around the creature. Is this a sequel or reboot? Probably the later I think.

Team give Ridley one more prequel to wrap up his story, and then if more Alien films have to happen after that, let them be one-offs with unique directors and their own distinctive styles.
