Does anyone know if this will ever be released on vinyl? Alien and Aliens have been re-released multiple times. Aliens got a standard re-print for Record Store Day a few years ago and Alien and Aliens got a deluxe/expanded release through Mondo a few years ago too.
I am aware that Alien 3 is not the most popular (people looking to spend money on it) compared to Alien and Aliens. Alien 3 is not my favorite movie in the series, but it has the best score of the series in my opinion. I also think a limited run would sell out.
I am just not sure if there is something holding the release back (licensing, copyright, etc.) or if the people in charge think it wouldn't make enough money. I collect vinyl and there have been tons of albums released with a MUCH smaller audience than an Alien 3 release would have.
