If it was one doll then maybe. But the fact that its more than one doll and they all decided to put up their articles at about the same time makes me sort of think its all planned.
If one guy drops off multiple doll heads in boxes at the postal service, chances are pretty good that they will be delivered at around the same time to the recipients. GBX aren't the only kids on the block with the know-how to mail multiple packages at once.
I don't care about doll heads. I don't think there is anything brilliant or original about this gimmick. I just want more news and a release date at this point.

I don't know why anyone would think this to be a fake when video-game and film companies are constantly using such marketing techniques. You only have to look at the extensive mail marketing the Dante's Inferno publishers carried out, posting objects of each sin in the run up to the release of the game. Heck look at the examples over at Joystiq. There's no doubt in my mind that this is legit.
It saddens me greatly that our site didn't receive a Casey... but oh well. Just the tip of the iceberg.
We have no postal address though.
That head creeps me out more looking at it now, than in the actual film.

I'm not quite sure how to measure the scope of a stunt that simply mails a few doll heads to a few addresses in the United States...but I don't think I'd describe it as "big." Like I alluded to before, the only thing worth paying attention to at this point is the delivery of real, actual news about A:CM. Every other stunt, gimmick, and promise is pointless to me. I've simply waited too long and my patience is too worn to get excited about a doll's head.

Creative Assembly is making the newly announced game that is supposed to have a Dead Space feel and be more related to ALIEN than ALIENS. They only just recently got the new space to start hiring a team to build the game so there is no way it is for that game.
Way Forward is making the side-scroller that may not even be released. We don't even know if this is being released plus its simply a side scroller on one platform, a handheld at that, and is probably not worth the money to do the doll stunt with.

The nerf gun is something you can make at home...
The Syd Mead print was what convinced me that the PR campaign is finally rolling for A:CM. Of all the Alien-based games in production, only A:CM has Syd Mead working for it.

Well,thats not for sure. I mean, the Sulaco is iconic of Aliens, and though this is a Syd Mead print, perhaps they just meant to show off the Sulaco, and not the Syd Mead aspect of it.
