Wow. I didn't expect to see that this morning. Even when I clicked on the link I still assumed it was a repost of the old hand-held camcorder trailer leaked from the GBX party. We finally have the teaser trailer the way it was meant to be seen.

Edit: yes, 2008. Few changes made, would be nice to know if the changes are fresh or it's just another 2008 version and someone just now got the permission to leak it.

Nice to see that video finally online! I remember being told GBX didn't create it, tho. IIRC it was handled by another company. It was a Fox/Sega decision when they were initially handling all the marketing. Such stuff is always likely to leak I guess.

It wasn't leaked though... It might have been leaked onto youtube but the link that Ikarop shows the studio that uploaded it to their site, they had to have gotten permission from Sega first right?

It's out in the wild now so very little point in taking it down. Maybe it was intentionally leaked, though probably not. The company that made it might have just finally updated their site or gotten permission to put it up. Or maybe no one had found it until now for whatever reasons.

God i hope to frigging god the soundeffects are like that in the game. The Motion tracker was f**king spot on soundwise, and the face hugger and the pulse rifle, urrgghh, i just jizzed in my pants.
We need to all stop acting so disappointed that this is an "old" trailer. If GBX had made this thing, we would have never seen it released in HD at all.

It's not gonna get canceled. I was alluding to the fact that many anticipated games DO get canceled. Many of those anticipated games never even make it past the state where they can release a trailer for themselves. A:CM is not one of those games. The recent dose of news shows that but some people still believe otherwise...and they're wrong.

I think that version was slightly shorter so they changed the dialogue a bit.
Can't wait to see more.
Gearbox is one of few companys i have a somewhat large faith in when it comes to making good games. Bioware & Dice are another two companys that i like. So yeah, i doubt Gearbox will screw this game up, after all, they're bringing us Duke Nukem, Yeah Duke Nukem!! nuff said.

I'm over the trailer already. Don't get me wrong, it's great to finally see it in HD after two years but it's something I already saw with just a little less detail (and different audio).

I can't wait for this game, it looks really good. Wouldn't it be great if the player encounters an Alien Queen and has to escape her chamber with Aliens and Facehuggers everywhere? I wonder if the creators of this game have thought about the chestburster, as the Alien Vs Predator game by Rebellion doesn't show the chestburster living up to it's name. If the player gets attacked by a facehugger they automatically die. I hope the makers of Aliens Colonial Marines let you live after being face hugged so it makes the game more realistic.

As much as i'd like to see that happen, i doubt it will make it in because you'd be waiting on your teammates face being raped for like an hour...unless they just speeded it up a bit or someshit.
Your team mates have a small time window of 5-10 seconds to help you before you get ownd. And you could still be functional after being impregnated, help around before your buddies shoot ya.

Exactly. They already had CE (Close Encounters or the fancy word for QTEs) planned for this game so it would work fine.
