I saw this post over at Reddit. The toys are in very early prototype stages, so no articulation is sculpted yet. But, atleast someone else is trying to make Predator action figures. I'm tired of NECA making nothing, And Hot Toys (while beautiful) are just not a scale I like to collect.

Here's hoping these turn out good! There's quite a of bit talented third party companies that can make really good toys that can compete with the legit thing. Demonical Fit and their Dragon Ball Z action figures come to mind.

Here are some more photos of the prototypes. The company making them is called Rebooter Toys and they do not have any type of online website or social media presence at the moment. They are literally a brand new company trying to break out.
The text says "pending licensor approval" in Chinese too. But that could also mean they may be exclusive to China due to licensing, and may not come to other countries like the US. But we need to wait for more information before we know for sure. Some companies are not allowed to sell outside of their own countries depending on licensing deals. Example being Hiya Toys not being able to sell Godzilla related figures to Japanese customers or to any shops in Japan due to the license deal Toho & BANDAI have. There's a lot of tricky rules when it comes to this stuff. I'm holding any excitement down until we have more information.

Fascinating, nice detective work there Mike. 👍

Hopefully they'll be able to get these figures moving along and we can finally have more options. Even if there only able to be sold in China, I'm sure numerous online stores here will import them. Like bigbadtoystore. They sell a lot of 3rd party Transformers.

3rd party Transformers are kind of different because they very specifically aren't licensed, anywhere.

Hasbro lets third-party companies make their own transforming robots (provided they don't literally sell them as "Transformers" or use trademarked names like Optimus Prime or whatever) mostly because it's free R&D and market sampling. Hasbro has straight-up copied third-party toys many times and adapted them into "official" toys (that meet US toy safety laws).

Well, I'm having that female Pred, so whatever it costs, I'm in.

And you, Rebooter Toys. We will watch your career with great interest.

Need a Wolf Pred badly. If these turn out good, I'll get them. NECA can kiss my sweet ass.

Urgh.  :'( I am surprised it took this long tbh. But the lawsuit probably got in the way of anything post-HG. Definitely curious to see where they take the Jungle Goddess though - if she'll be based on something from Hunting Grounds or if they do some unique armor for her.
