It has to be in the unrated definitive edition of the first AvP film then (which I don't own yet)?

I just ordered this DVD for the bonus features - I'm looking for an outtake of the Alien, in the corridor, that was used in a featurette or documentary. Would you know if it's in this unrated definitive 2-disc set of AvP?

The outtake is from the original Alien. It was uploaded here about a decade ago by xeno alpha 07. I'm hoping it's in this DVD release.

If the outtake is from AVP (1st one), it's either going to be on the 2-disc DVD, or it's going to be one of those things floating around on YouTube.

I have the Australian releases for the AvP films. Perhaps they may have been edited, and the US / UK versions have more bonus features? The old R4 ALIEN Legacy boxed set was edited for bonus content. But the 60 mins documentary was included. For the US R1 version, you had to send away for the bonus disc documentary, I remember.

Blu-ray: Alien Anthology (6-disc set), Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Alien Covenant, Predator (4-film collection)

All that's missing is AVP (2-disc DVD, Blu-ray), Prometheus (3D Blu-ray for the exclusive Special Feature disc), and Prey (still haven't seen it, haha).

Yes, I use Blu-ray.com for comparisons. They don't have anything, I believe, on out-of-print DVDs, only standard and 4K BDs.

They'll list DVD releases, but they do not review them, just Blu-ray and 4K.

It is an uspscaled 2K master, the same as the original Blu-ray release, it is modified with Park Roads "artificial intelligence" algorithm which invents fake detail like edge enhancement does for example but baked into the image of the 4K Blu-ray.

Leading to smearing faces in the background or misinterpreting certain things as other things it can draw.

Additionally the high dynamic range only gets to 200 nits of light, basically barely even noticeable, for comparison most discs get up anywhere from 1000 to 2000 nits.

Yes all that and the the color grading is different and imo not in a good way from the previous releases.
